Tank Size & Geometry
Select geometry and size based on your inlet flow rate. Rectangular tanks provide longer detention time; trapezoidal geometry provides an extended beach for drier, more concentrated discharge. Selecting a tank auto-suggests the standard holding tank size and pre-selects DWTH heating.

2
Holding Tank — Heating Type
Select the heating method for the scum holding tank. Heated tanks maintain scum pumpability — especially critical for high-FOG applications and cold climates. DWTH is the standard selection.
NN
No Holding Tank
Excluded from scope
DWTH Standard
Double-Walled – Tenco Hot Water
Tenco Hydro-provided recirculated hot water heating; recommended for most applications
DWPH
Double-Walled – Plant Hot Water
Plant-provided hot water supply; double-wall tank
DWIH
Double-Walled – Immersion
Internal immersion electric heating element
EH
Electric Blanket / Heat Trace
Suitable for moderate FOG applications
NH
No Heating
Not recommended for high-FOG service
3
Holding Tank — Size
Select holding tank volume. The standard size for your selected concentrator is highlighted. Size is based on scum production rate, heating method, and required storage duration.

4
Material of Construction
Select tank and mechanism material. 316SS is preferred for chloride-bearing or aggressive service environments.
CS
Carbon Steel
Standard; most economical
304SS Suggested
304 Stainless Steel
General-purpose stainless
316SS
316 Stainless Steel
Chloride or aggressive service
5
Chain Material
Select skimmer flight chain material. Nonmetallic options eliminate corrosion and reduce maintenance in aggressive environments.
SRC
Steel Roller Chain
RC6; cast iron sprockets; standard service
304RC Suggested
304SS Roller Chain
Corrosive or high-moisture environments
NH78
NH78 Nonmetallic
Glass-reinforced thermoplastic; 7/8″ pitch
NMSC
NCS720S Nonmetallic
6″ avg pitch; ≥3,100 lbs working load
6
Inlet Manifold
Controls how scum-laden flow reaches the concentrator. Selecting a manifold tier will auto-suggest and pre-select the standard controls package for Step 7 — you can override if needed.
IM1
Flow Monitoring Only
Clamp-on ultrasonic or inline mag meter; continuous flow measurement and display. No isolation or diversion. Compatible with C0–C6. → Standard controls: C1
IM2
Flow Monitoring + Manual Isolation
IM1 + manual shutoff valve. Butterfly valve ≤300 GPM; plug valve recommended >300 GPM. → Standard controls: C2
IM3
Flow Monitoring + Automated Isolation
IM1 + automated valve closure on alarm or scheduled maintenance. Remote operable. Recommended minimum for automated systems. → Standard controls: C4
IM4A
Auto Isolation + Dedicated Bypass
IM1 + automated shutoff + dedicated bypass. Maintains upstream flow during maintenance. Essential for continuous-operation facilities. → Standard controls: C4
IM4B
Flow Monitoring + Divert to Existing Bypass
IM1 + automated diverter to concentrator or existing plant bypass. Supports multi-concentrator configurations. → Standard controls: C4
IM5
Modulating Flow Control Package
Fully modulating pinch valve + plug valves on both sides + bypass. Maximum control for process optimization. → Standard controls: C6
7
Controls Package
Control packages scale from manual to fully automated. The standard tier for your selected inlet manifold is pre-selected — you can override if needed.
C0 Suggested
No Controls
Motors and devices supplied for field wiring only. All VFDs, starters, and interlocks by others.
