1 DAF Tank — Type & Size

Select the DAF tank configuration. Rectangular hopper bottom tanks optimize sludge collection and dewatering. Flat bottom tanks suit lower-solids applications. For retrofits, enter the existing tank model as a reference.

3 Material of Construction

Select tank and mechanism material. 304SS is the recommended standard for most DAF+ applications. 316SS is preferred for coastal/chloride environments or aggressive influent chemistry. Note: injection manifold material follows this selection automatically.

DAF+ recirculation rate is 35% vs. 50% for standard DAF — the aphron generator supplements bubble volume, reducing pressurization system requirements and energy consumption.
7 Controls Package

C3 is the minimum required for all DAF+ configurations. C3 provides the PLC I/O and analog outputs for aphron generator flow-pacing. C0, C1, and C2 are not available for DAF+.

C3
Standard DAF+ Controls — Core Automation MINIMUM
PLC-based control. Flow-paced aphron generator output, HMI touchscreen, analog I/O for inlet flow meter integration, SCADA-ready 4–20 mA outputs, all DAF+ interlock logic included. Skimmer VFD, recycle pump, air system, continuous operation sequencing.
C4
DAF+ + Sludge Management System
All C3 features plus sludge/scum transfer pump(s), sludge holding tank control, level monitoring, pump cycling, and protection.
C5
DAF+ + Chemical Pretreatment Integration
All C4 features plus flash mix, flocculation, polymer and coagulant feed, flow-paced dosing. Optional pH/ORP/TSS instrumentation.
C6
Full Pretreatment + Equalization + Oil Break
All C5 features plus upstream pH equalization, oil-water separation, tank level management, pH dosing, and interlocks.
C7
Fully Integrated Standalone Treatment System
All C6 features. Full system under one panel. Full HMI, alarm history, trending, remote/SCADA access.

The AG module defines the DAF+ aphron generator. Generator GPM matches the pressurization system tier. All three fields are required: size, injection configuration, and manifold material (auto-set from Step 3).

Aphron froth at release chamber inlet only. Lower cost. Suitable for standard applications and most retrofits.

Distributed Floor Injection
Release chamber + multiple floor injection points along the flotation zone. Recommended for fine clay, difficult emulsions, high SLR targets, and effluent polishing applications.
INJB
Both — Single-Point + Distributed
Maximum bubble-particle contact. Highest SLR applications or maximum load flexibility. Consult factory for manifold layout.
Manifold material is automatically set to match your material selection in Step 3 (304SS). No separate selection required.
