1
Design Flow Rate (Permeate / Product Water)
Select the design permeate (product water) flow rate. Tenco Hydro engineers complete RO systems from 25 to 700+ GPM — we fabricate the frames and skids in-house and partner with leading membrane manufacturers for the media packs.
P025
25–50 GPM Permeate
Single-train compact system; light industrial reuse or water conservation
P100
51–100 GPM Permeate
Single-train standard system; small-medium industrial facility water reuse
P200
101–200 GPM Permeate
Single or dual-train; medium industrial or light municipal reuse
P350
201–350 GPM Permeate
Multi-train; large industrial facility or significant water reuse target
P500
351–500 GPM Permeate
Large multi-train system; municipal reuse or zero liquid discharge
P700
501–700 GPM Permeate
Maximum standard range; multiple parallel trains; large facility ZLD
PCUST
Custom Flow Rate
Staged or phased systems above 700 GPM; provide target permeate flow and water quality for engineering review
2
System Configuration
Select the RO system train configuration. Single-pass systems are standard for most industrial water reuse applications. Double-pass achieves higher purity. Multi-stage systems maximize recovery for zero liquid discharge (ZLD) goals.
1P Standard
Single-Pass RO
One RO membrane array; 70–80% recovery typical; standard for process water reuse and conservation
2P
Double-Pass RO
Permeate from first pass fed to second; higher purity product water; pharmaceutical and electronics service
MS
Multi-Stage / High Recovery
Staged concentrate treatment; 90–95%+ recovery; zero liquid discharge (ZLD) or near-ZLD applications
BRINE
Brine Concentrator Stage
High-pressure second stage treating RO concentrate; maximum water recovery; paired with evaporator or crystallizer for true ZLD
3
Frame / Platform Type
Tenco Hydro fabricates all RO system frames and skids in-house in Sugar Grove, IL. Select the delivery platform. Trailer-mounted systems include road-legal axle and lighting packages for mobile or rental deployment.
SKID Standard
Fixed Skid-Mounted
Structural steel skid; fork-lift pockets; anchor bolt pattern; standard for permanent installations
CONT
Containerized / ISO Skid
20 or 40 ft ISO container frame; enclosed or open-top; weatherproof for outdoor installations
TRAIL
Trailer-Mounted
Road-legal trailer with tandem axle, lights, and tie-downs; ideal for rental deployment and temporary service
MOBL
Mobile Rental Unit
Fully commissioned trailer-mounted system available for short or long-term rental; quick deployment for emergencies, pilot programs, or seasonal demand
4
Ownership Model
Tenco Hydro RO systems are available for outright purchase or as a rental / lease-to-own arrangement. Rental systems include startup, membrane warranty, and remote monitoring during the rental term.
BUY Standard
Purchase
Outright equipment purchase; full ownership; standard commercial sale with warranty
RENT
Rental
Short or long-term rental; Tenco Hydro retains ownership; includes startup, monitoring, and membrane warranty coverage
LTO
Lease-to-Own
Monthly payments applied toward purchase; ownership transfers at end of term; flexible for capital planning
5
Target Recovery Rate
Select the target water recovery rate. Higher recovery reduces concentrate disposal volume but requires more membrane stages, higher operating pressure, and more robust pretreatment. Tenco Hydro engineers the system to your recovery target based on feedwater analysis.
R50
50–65% Recovery
Conservative recovery; lower operating pressure; suitable for challenging feedwater or minimal pretreatment
R75 Standard
70–80% Recovery
Standard industrial recovery; balance of water savings and operating cost; most common selection
R90
85–92% Recovery
High recovery; multi-stage system; requires robust pretreatment and antiscalant program
R95
93–98% Recovery — Near-ZLD
Near zero liquid discharge; brine concentrator stage; highest capital and operating cost; evaporator or crystallizer may be required for true ZLD
6
Pretreatment Requirements
Select the pretreatment scope to be included with the RO system. Adequate pretreatment is critical for membrane life and system performance. Tenco Hydro provides integrated pretreatment design matched to feedwater quality.
PT-NONE
No Pretreatment — By Others
Pretreatment exists or will be provided by others; RO system scope only
PT-ANTI
Antiscalant Dosing Only
Chemical antiscalant injection skid upstream of RO; minimum pretreatment for clean feedwater
PT-CART Standard
Cartridge Filtration + Antiscalant
5-micron cartridge filter housing + antiscalant dosing; standard pretreatment for most RO feedwaters
PT-SOFT
Softener + Cartridge + Antiscalant
Ion exchange softener for hardness removal + cartridge filtration + antiscalant; high-hardness feedwater
PT-MF
Multimedia Filtration + Softener + Antiscalant
Comprehensive pretreatment train for turbid or high-TSS feedwater; extends membrane life significantly
PT-CUST
Custom Pretreatment
Unusual feedwater chemistry or quality; provide water analysis for Tenco Hydro pretreatment engineering review
7
Controls
Select the controls and monitoring tier for the RO system. All systems include basic operation indicators. Higher tiers add PLC-based automation, permeate quality monitoring, and remote access.
C1
Basic Panel + HOA
Local control panel with HOA switches. Pressure gauges, flow indicators. Manual flush initiation. Run/fault indicators.
C2 Standard
Auto Operation + Conductivity Monitoring
C1 + automated startup/shutdown sequence. Permeate conductivity transmitter for quality monitoring. High-pressure cutoff. Auto flush cycle on shutdown.
C3
