DAF Tank — Type & Size

Select the DAF tank configuration. Rectangular hopper bottom tanks optimize sludge collection and dewatering. Flat bottom tanks are suited for lower-solids applications. Circular DAF units offer a compact footprint for smaller flow rates.

Holding Tank — Heating Type

Select the heating method for the sludge/scum holding tank, if included. DWTH is the standard selection for most applications.

Holding Tank — Size
▶
Specify holding tank volume in gallons. Replace XXX with the required volume (e.g., G500 = 500 gal). Range: 100–100,000 gallons. Select NN if no holding tank is included.

Material of Construction
▶
Select tank and mechanism material. 304SS is the suggested standard. 316SS is preferred for chloride or aggressive service. Concrete is available for large civil-integrated installations.

Chain Material
▶
Select skimmer flight chain material. 304RC stainless roller chain is the suggested standard for DAF service. Nonmetallic NCS720S eliminates corrosion in highly aggressive environments.

Reaction Tank (Flash / Floc)
▶
Select the flash/flocculation reaction tank sized to your design flow. Standard HRT is 2.5–5 minutes. Extended HRT (5–10 min) options are available for challenging applications. Select NN if no reaction tank is required.

Pressure Tank
▶
Select the pressurization tank orientation and size matched to your design flow. The pressure tank dissolves air into recycle water for DAF bubble generation. Horizontal (tank-mounted) units are available for compact installations.
